Dr. Talya Nathan

Dr. Talya Nathan is a senior neurologist at the Cognitive Neurology Unit within the Neurological Division of the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov).

She earned her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University and completed her neurology residency at Sourasky Medical Center, passing the Israeli board certification examination (Stage B) with honors.

She later completed a fellowship in cognitive neurology at Ichilov, further specializing in the evaluation and treatment of cognitive and neurodegenerative disorders.

Dr. Nathan’s areas of expertise include the diagnosis and management of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and a wide range of neurodegenerative diseases that cause dementia, such as Alzheimer’s disease, frontotemporal dementia, Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, and vascular dementia.

In her clinical practice, she utilizes advanced diagnostic tools and innovative treatments, including disease-modifying therapies aimed at delaying functional decline in patients with Alzheimer’s disease.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Nathan is actively involved in medical education and residency training, and serves as a researcher in both national and international clinical trials focused on novel therapies for neurodegenerative brain diseases.
